Former Tottenham goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt says Manchester United should still choose Mauricio Pochettino as their long-term manager over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer now appears to have the advantage after last night's win.
But Thorstvedt says: "If I worked at United and had to make a choice now and Pochettino was available, I would take him. Then I know what I get. I'm much more uncertain about Solskjaer. It will be a gamble, and United can't afford to gamble now.
"Pochettino has all the way outperformed with the teams he has had. He would have liked to have a title at the top, but for the clubs he has led, he has done extremely well.
"Solskjaer speaks a lot about the club's DNA. There are such things that work very well when things are going well, but he must also be a little careful. If it goes bad then it is used against you. Then people say that 'he lives in the past, things are not as they were when you played'."
