Former Tottenham and Juventus midfielder Edgar Davids is set to take the Holland U20 job.
The Sun says the post has been vacant since November when Dwight Lodeweges left his role as head coach in order to fully concentrate on his job at Dutch side PEC Zwolle, which meant Peter van der Veen stepped up from his role as assistant.
Davids will now step into Van der Veen's former role but only on a temporary basis until the youth side come up against Czech Republic on April 27, according to reports in Holland.
The former Juventus and Tottenham midfielder first stepped into management back in 2012 when he acted as player/manager with Barnet FC, but he left that role in 2014.
Since leaving the post, Davids worked with the Netherlands football governing body, KNVB, to earn his coaching badges.
