Ostersunds have named David Webb as their new technical director.
Webb moves to Sweden after a successful career in England with Tottenham, Southampton and Bournemouth.
At his presentation yesterday, Webb stated: "The club can accomplish big things. I came here to win the league and take us back to Europe. I think the environment for the players to develop is very good. With a good young coach and strong owner.
"Here we have the capacity to find the players that will enable us to achieve our goal.
"During my time in Bournemouth and Tottenham I watched a lot of Swedish football. My first signing for Bournemouth was actually Tokelo Rantie, which came from Malmö FF in 2013. I have scouted the Nordic leagues. I have a good idea. At a young age, between 16 and 18 years, there are many talents in Sweden. The league is getting better. It is stronger today."
