Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is set to be named QPR manager.
The London Evening Standard says Sherwood will be their new manager by tomorrow night following the sacking of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Director of Football Les Ferdinand has been in talks with the former Tottenham manager and is confident Sherwood will accept the post.
Rangers tried to employ Sherwood after Harry Redknapp left in 2015 but talks broke down over his wage demands and he joined Aston Villa.
Sherwood, who worked with Ferdinand at Spurs as an academy coach, is ready to return to management having lost his job at Villa Park 13 months ago.
It is understood another former colleague at Spurs, Chris Ramsey, will be upgraded from his role in charge of youth development at Loftus Road to become his assistant.
