Former Spartak Moscow chief Sergei Shavlo isn't surprised by news that Quincy Promes is attracting major transfer interest.
Southampton are tracking the young forward, who admitted he came close to joining Manchester United last summer, only for his move from Twente to Spartak to have already been rubberstamped.
Izvestia says Promes' current deal carries a €20 million buyout clause.
And Shavlo says: "Quincy Promes can be named not only the best player for Spartak, but also one of the best attacking midfielders in all of the Russian championship
"The attention that Europe's top clubs are beginning to show is absolutely justified and deserved."
