Former Spanish PM José María Aznar says he couldn't consider challenging Florentino Perez for the Real Madrid presidency.
Aznar is a huge Real fan and says Florentino's record in the Champions League deserves great respect.
He told Radio Marca: "I have been, I am and I will be of Real Madrid all my life, I started going to the stadium at the age of 6. I watched many matches with veterans of the team, like Di Stéfano, Camacho, Isidoro San José, Míchel, Butragueño and Martín Vázquez.
"When four European Cups have been won in the last five years, it means that there have been two great presidents in the history of the club: Florentino Pérez and Santiago Bernabéu.
"Real Madrid already has a very good president, I would rather have been a player, but that is far behind me."
