Former Sevilla and Real Madrid attacker Jose Antonio Reyes has signed for Extremadura.

Reyes has spent the last few months in China as a player of Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard, after a short spell in Cordoba in 2018.

At Extremadura he will join forces with his former teammate Diego Capel, in the quest of rescuing the club from relegation to the Spanish third tier.

Reyes started his career in the Sevilla academy, before moving to teams such as Arsenal, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Benfica and Espanyol.
