Former Roma sports director Gianluca Petrachi says they'll struggle to replace Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko is set to leave Roma for Inter Milan.

Petrachi told TMW: "When I arrived the player was on the transfer market but losing him was complicated.

"I insisted myself on his stay. In the end he understood and stayed, since Inter didn't manage to offer what we wanted.

"It won't be easy for the Giallorossi to replace him, he plays the department alone. I hope that Roma will find a player up to par."
