Former Real Madrid midfielder Uli Stielike says they must rethink plans of signing Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
The Tianjin Teda coach admits he'd prefer to see more "humble" players joining Real.
Asked if Real should be pursuing Pogba, he told AS: "If you want to return to the idea of the Galacticos, maybe yes, but I am more in favour of humble players with great talent and sacrifice for the team."
Stielike admits he'd like to see veteran pair Toni Kroos and Luka Modric stay on.
"In my time when you reached 30 you entered the category of 'float'. Madrid offered these players only to extend their contracts from year to year. Fortunately times have changed and today a man of this age is seen as an experienced player, not an old player."
