Former Real Madrid star Fernando Redondo says they're missing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo quit Real for Juventus last summer where he is now setting new goalscoring records.
After Saturday's El Clasico defeat to Barcelona, Redondo said: "It is a complicated moment, since the beginning of the season it was not easy for Madrid, after having achieved the Champions League, evidently the departure of Ronaldo is hurting the team.
"We see that lack of forcefulness, of effectiveness that Ronaldo offered, so this process is not going to be easy. I think obviously Madrid in the Champions League is a plus, has the tie on track which will have to be the focus (against Ajax).
"Obviously I think we are facing a stage of searches, surely Madrid will be there to replace those goals that are lacking. I think that the appearance of Vinicius is hopeful, but we cannot load on him and hope that at 18 years of age he can carry the team's goalscoring weight."
