Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon hopes coach Zinedine Zidane continues next season.

Calderon is a fan of the Frenchman and his work with Real Madrid.

He told CMIT TV: "Zidane has shown that he is a great coach. And having been a big star in the past, he's able to handle a lot of others in the locker room.

"I believe that if he was able to coach Real Madrid, he can lead any club. And since he won with the Merengues, I'm sure he can replicate that wherever he goes.

"But I hope Zidane's cycle at Madrid isn't over: only one coach has been on the Real bench for at least three years in the past 47 years. So I always choose him for the future of Real Madrid."
