Former Real Madrid midfielder Freddy Rincon says James Rodriguez needs to think carefully about his situation at Bayern Munich.

James is on-loan at Bayern from Real, but has fallen out with coach Niko Kovac this season.

Rincon told AS: "It's hard to give advice.

"We used to listen to a lot of advice and put it into practice because we saw the older person, with more experience, with a great respect. Today it is difficult.

"James has had problems at Madrid, has had problems at Bayern. Maybe he has to review those difficulties is him. He has had problems with two coaches, with two large teams ... Sometimes one also has to check and see if one is really having problems."
