Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano hailed the goalscoring performance of Vinicius Junior after their 3-3 draw at Levante.

Vinicius struck twice to help rescue a point on Sunday.

Valdano later enthused: "A huge goal by Vinicius.

"It's crazy, a great goal. In a week he has learned to finish. Madrid's defensive imbalances are paying dearly for them.

"It was a Madrid with pride and with a good response. Especially Vinicius, with two wonderful goals, which gives them an insufficient draw."
