Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano says it's crucial the coaching staff get a hold of Vinicius Junior.
Valdano believes the teen a the talent, but lacks an on-field effectiveness.
He explained: "When Raul was at the age of Vinicius, we did everything with him every day correcting his play. He was like a madman when he debuted at Real Madrid, the clear goal was to coach him properly and with Vinicius they will do it and he will improve, he needs to stop and raise his head."
Valdano, after Real's defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey last night, added: "Without Cristiano (Ronaldo) Real Madrid has many more problems to get ahead the games that they does not deserve to win. The problem with Madrid is that in the last few metres it is in the hands of a very good kid but he is not ready yet."
