Former Real Madrid youth coach Alvaro Benito says they should move for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Real coach Santiago Solari is fighting to save his job after a dismal week for the club. In the space of seven days, Real have been dumped out of the Copa del Rey and Champions League, along with the end of their LaLiga title bid.

And if Solari is to be removed, Benito believes Real should sign Klopp as his replacement.

“I have no doubt that the coach who best fits Real Madrid is Jurgen Klopp," he stated.

Benito was sacked last week as Real Juvenil A coach - and replaced by Raul - for criticising senior Real players after their Copa defeat to Barcelona.
