Former Real Madrid coach Benito Floro says Gareth Bale needs to leave.

The Welshman was left out by Zinedine Zidane for the club's friendly with Bayern Munich on Saturday night and is close to an exit.

"Great players have left Real Madrid [before]," Floro said on Radio MARCA. "Bale is a player that's succeeded at Real Madrid.

"If he can't continue succeeding, the best thing is to leave.

"It seems complicated now, but now everything is back on track."
