Former Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic has slammed coach Zinedine Zidane's midfield.
Mijatovic believes Real need to improve their midfield before the market shuts.
He told El Larguero: "Let's see if they incorporate someone in the remainder of the summer although I am not optimistic. In the centre of the field it is a bit lame, there are not many alternatives.
"One more midfielder would do very well."
On Eden Hazard as a successor for Cristiano Ronaldo, he added: "There is no other Cristiano, he does not exist, we must have the players who are here. The only player who can make a difference is Hazard. I expected a little more renewal of the squad this summer."
