David Healy is set to sign for League One club Bury according to reports.
The 33-year old Northern Ireland striker is a free agent after being released by Rangers earlier this summer and it appears as though he will continue his career at Gigg Lane.
The former Manchester United, Leeds United, Fulham and Sunderland man was also being targeted by old club Preston North End but it is believed that he will sign a one-year contract with the Shakers prior to the weekend.
