Former QPR boss Gigi de Canio expects to return to England this summer.

De Canio was being linked with a return to the R's before manager Neil Warnock was confirmed by club owners Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone.

The Italian has told Sky Italia he has a concrete offer from England and no plans to work in Italy next season.

Birmingham City is a likely destination for De Canio.
