Franco Colomba is in talks with Leyton Orient.
TMW says Colomba has been approached by Orient officials and was due in London late yesterday.
Colomba, 60, has coached the likes of Bologna, Napoli and Cagliari in Italy.
He has also coached in the Indian Super League with Pune City.
League Two side Leyton Orient sacked head coach Ian Hendon following a run of four wins in 21 league games.
Hendon's assistant Andy Hessenthaler has been placed in caretaker charge of the O's, who sit 11th in the table, two points off the play-off positions.
