Former PSV Eindhoven whizkid Elvio van Overbeek has spoken of interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Now 24 and without a club, Van Overbeek was linked with both giants as a teen.
"Real Madrid and Chelsea? It was not that serious," he recalled to Voetbalzone.
"There were stories that I could go there, but I never heard from those clubs that they wanted to get me."
He added: "Many good players played in my position. They said I did well, but the youth did not get many opportunities. Or you had to be a real exception like a Zakaria Bakkali or Jorrit Hendrix. I was promoted by Phillip Cocu, but I was injured during the preseason. I could not take my chance when it came."
