Former PSG president Charles Villeneuve insists Arsene Wenger was never offered a job by the club.
The ex-Arsenal manager has been linked with PSG for much of the past season.
But Villeneuve, who is close to Wenger, revealed to RMC: "He has never been asked.
"The sheikh, who has met him several times lately, never said to him: 'Do you feel ready to take the general direction to try to restructure the sporting aspect of the club?'
"I asked him about it several times. He is ready. But still it is necessary that one proposes it to him! He would have come. He would have accepted without difficulty. That, I can tell you and I am categorical!"
