Peguy Luyindula is on trial with New York Red Bull in the hope of winning a contract with the MLS club.
The 33-year old French striker is a free agent after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain in December and is now training with the Red Bulls alongside compatriot Thierry Henry and former Lyon teammate Juninho.
It is believed that Luyindula will not be considered as a Designated Player but New York head coach Mike Petke is certainly casting an eye over him following their need to trade leading scorer Kenny Cooper to FC Dallas recently.
