Ex-Premier League player found guilty of match fixing

Former Premier League footballer Delroy Facey has been found guilty of conspiracy to commit bribery in a match fixing trial. Facey had pleaded not guilty at Birmingham Crown Court.

Former non-league player Moses Swaibu of London was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit bribery.

The two were arrested as part of a National Crime Agency investigation into match fixing.

Facey played for clubs including Bolton Wanderers, Hull City and West Bromwich Albion, Notts County, Tranmere Rovers and Lincoln City.
