Ex-Norwich loanee Kamara back in scoring form with SKC

Kei Kamara is delighted to be back in free-scoring form for Sporting Kansas City.

The 28-year old winger, who enjoyed a loan spell with Norwich City in the Premier League last season, has scored five goals in his past five outings for SKC as well as an international goal for Sierra Leone in the 2-2 World Cup qualifier with Tunisia recently.

Kamara, who scored a winning double in the 3-2 victory over Columbus Crew on the weekend, is loving his own form at present but knows the team needs to lift in order to make a genuine push for the playoffs this season.

"It feels good, but at the same time it's really about getting Sporting KC back where we used to be the past couple of years, which is top of the table," Kamara told MLSsoccer.com.

"For me, if we're there and I'm not even scoring goals I could feel good about it. I could come in every morning with my head up high and appreciate that we're doing well."

SKC currently sit fourth on the Eastern Conference table ahead of this weekend's meeting with the West's fourth-placed side Vancouver Whitecaps.
