Former Newcastle United boss John Carver is ready to work abroad.

Carver had a spell in MLS with Toronto FC.

He told BT Sport: "When you're out of the business like I've been now it's a difficult, frustrating situation. For me and Steve we need to get a job and get back on that training ground. The right opportunity has to come for me because it was a tough five months I had.

"It's got to be right for me and the club, I won't dive into something.

"I don't mind going abroad."
