Former Newcastle United striker Elias Sorensen is delighted with his move to Esbjerg.
Sorensen joined Esbjerg last week, signing a four-year contract, and has already made his debut.
"Listen, I come and take care of my work, and then I do not think so much about everything else. I have learned in England that you just have to focus on what you can do something about, and I can do something by training better and scoring some goals," he told JV.dk.
"After a slightly too turbulent time in Newcastle, where I could look forward to being loaned out again this season, I needed to find a place where I could stay for longer. I had a good talk with the coach (Peter Hyballas) before I signed and he convinced me that this is the right place for me and that we should play the way I like to play. Now we just have to win some matches."
