Former Newcastle United striker Michael Chopra has urged Sean Longstaff to quit for Manchester United.
Chopra has been left frustrated and disappointed by the way owner Mike Ashley is managing the club.
And he told the Evening Chronicle: "I would go. What is keeping him at Newcastle United? They have no ambition.
"At least if he goes to Manchester United, he is going to be challenging for trophies, and playing in Europe every year.
"He will become a better player at Manchester United. He is going to learn so much playing alongside Pogba, Rashford and those sorts of players.
"If I was Sean Longstaff I would jump at the chance to leave."
