Former Newcastle United forward Andy Carroll was offered to clubs in the Championship this summer.
According to Football League World, Carroll spoke to several teams in England's second division about signing on a free transfer, as he is out of contract at present.
The 32-year-old had previously linked him with Reading, but a move never materialised.
Carroll is still searching for a new team, and he hopes to get something sorted in the coming weeks.
There is even a possibility that Carroll will renew with Newcastle on a short term contract.
