Former Napoli coach Rafa Benitez has played down the prospect of a return.
The Spaniard is available after leaving China's Dalian Pro earlier this year and has been linked with a return to the Nerazzurri.
But the former Newcastle United manager told Marca: "I have already received more than one offer in recent months, but it was not the time or it was not the right project. I needed to spend time with my family. I would like to find a club with the ambition to compete and fight to win titles or to develop a serious project that will lead you to later reach that goal: to be able to compete for something.
"I always say that the key to success lies in balance, both in the field between defence and attack, both in the management of a club, combining experience with young people to achieve their goals.
"Priorities? My experiences in the Premier League with Liverpool, Chelsea or Newcastle have all been very satisfying. I want to continue to be in the Premier.
"My family is in England and this is the most complete League in all respects."
