San Jose Earthquakes have signed English midfielder Ritchie Jones.
The 26-year old former Manchester United youth has made the move across the Atlantic after spending the first eight years of his professional career in the UK and Europe.
Jones kicked off with United in 2005 and during his time at Old Trafford was sent for loan spells with Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp, and lower league English clubs Colchester United, Barnsley and Yeovil Town.
Jones signed for Hartlepool United in 2008 prior to his shift to Oldham Athletic two years later and has since played with Bradford City and Rochdale.
