Free agent Giuseppe Rossi is in talks to return to the USA.

The former USA international striker has been training with Manchester United for almost two months.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Rossi is now on the verge of agreeing terms with the LA Galaxy.

The striker has been plagued by knee injury problems and hasn't played competitively since April 2018.

His last club was Genoa, where he arrived as a free agent in December 2017 and was released at the end of the six-month contract.
