Former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi hopes to make a Premier League return.

Tottenham have considered a deal for the former Fiorentina, Villarreal and Genoa hitman due to their current injury problems, but will not be making an offer, says The Sun.

Rossi, who made 14 appearances for Man United and scored four goals, said: "I just love this game too much to let go or to give up or to not continue to try my best in order to reach a certain level, in order to reach my full potential.

"The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world, no doubt.

"It would be a pleasure to come back here, play, prove myself and I'm ready for any challenge."
