Federico Macheda is confident Angel Di Maria will be a success if he signs with Manchester United.
The Argentine winger is reportedly close to joining the Red Devils from Real Madrid on a big-money transfer and former Old Trafford striker Macheda, now with Cardiff City, feels it will be a positive move by his old club.
"I think he's one of the best signings they could make," the Italian told talkSPORT.
"At Man United a player like Di Maria will lift the players and the club as well. If they can get him it will be great for the club.
"He has played already for a big club in Real Madrid so he will be fine with the pressure on him."
