Former Manchester United and Stoke City defender Danny Higginbotham has agreed to play for Gibraltar in next year's Euro2016 qualifiers.
The 34-year-old has been approached by manager Allen Bula, who is also his uncle, to play as he qualifies through a Spanish grandmother.
"I can confirm in principle that I have agreed to represent Gibraltar and am looking forward to the adventure," he wrote on Twitter yesterday.
