Sacked Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz has revealed he rejected an offer from Fulham over the summer.

The former Manchester United No2 lost his job last week.

"I was still the coach of Portugal," said Queiroz, "but in the summer I received some proposals. Japan and Australia were interested and then there was also an approach from Fulham where I had to answer negatively.

"I am sure that in the months ahead there will be offers."
