Ex-Man Utd midfielder Kleberson told to be patient before Philadelphia Union debut

Philadelphia Union head coach John Hackworth insists Jose Kleberson will be given no favours despite the fact he is a World Cup winner.

The 33-year old former Brazil international and Manchester United midfielder recently joined the Union from homeland club Bahia but will not step straight into Hackworth's line-up notwithstanding his credentials.

"He's got to earn it just like every other guy," Hackworth said.

"We like him a lot. But he might have to be patient and wait for the opportunity because I'm not going to take guys out that have been here and are doing well just for the sake of inserting someone else."

Philly, who sit fifth on the Eastern Conference table, host sixth-placed Toronto FC at PPL Park on Saturday.
