Former Manchester United midfielder Kleberson has likened to Mason Greenwood to Robin van Persie.

Greenwood struck again for United in victory over Newcastle United on Thursday night.

Kleberson said, “Mason Greenwood is very similar to Van Persie how he plays. They have a similar technique in the way they strike the ball. I saw Van Persie when I was 24/25 years old and was amazed, but Mason Greenwood is performing well at 18 years old. He's a very young player with high quality and is technically brilliant, especially on his left foot. In front of goal, he's shown he is superb during big moments in the game. “

“He's a very good player with a great reputation at the club, and he could easily become one of United's best players in the near future. Any decision when he has the ball, he always looks to beat the opponent. He's fearless and not frightened to make a mistake. It's great to find a player with good mental strength at such a young age."
