Ander Herrera admits PSG coach Thomas Tuchel was key to his decision to move to Paris.

The former Manchester United midfielder joined PSG in a Bosman deal earlier this summer.

Herrera revealed: "Why did I come? First, for the project. The club has a classy and glamorous side that I like a lot. Then, because I want to continue playing for a big club. And, finally, I did not see myself evolving in another English club.

"When you've played for Manchester United, it's hard to go anywhere else. PSG, it is a project which progresses without stopping. The way Paris approached me was impeccable. I felt wanted. Thomas (Tuchel) called me several times to talk. He's someone who helps players to be better. And at twenty-nine, I always want to progress."
