Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has paid a huge compliment to recent signing Bruno Fernandes.

Hargreaves was asked to talk about Fernandes' style of play during United's 5-0 win over LASK in the Europa League on Thursday.

The former United defensive midfielder had a lot of praise for Fernandes, and even likened him to Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

"Every time he gets the ball he makes something happen," said Hargreaves, after Fernandes created chance after chance in the game.

"Fernandes is on fire, he created five chances in that first half.

"Like De Bruyne, he plays at his own speed, he's never rushed, finds pockets of space.

"He just has a feel of when to do things."
