Former Manchester United captain Darren Fletcher admits he'd have signed for Rangers if given the chance.
The 36-year-old from Dalkeith spent time at both Celtic Boys Club and the Ibrox youth ranks as a teenager before being scouted by Manchester United and persuaded to join the Old Trafford side.
He told BBC Sport: "Who do I support? I'll tell you the truth, I grew up a Celtic fan but I probably spent more time playing with Rangers and loved being around the Rangers youth set up.
"So more than likely if I would have signed for a Scottish club, I would have signed for Rangers believe it or not.
"If it came to it, I would say I am a Celtic fan, I am not hiding behind that. That is there to be seen.
"But at the same time I am not everything against Rangers.
"Rangers doing well in Europe, I like seeing it.
"I've loved their European run this year.
"I have been in England so long that I am more of a Manchester United fan than anything.
"But I love Scottish football and think it is a breath of fresh air watching it."
