There was excitement for Feyenoord fans at the sight of an old hero, and disappointed at a draw away from home.

Robin van Persie made his long awaited return in a Feyenoord jersey, after completing his move from Turkey just a few days ago.

Van Persie came on late in the game between Feyenoord and Utrecht, and he was unable to help his side get the second goal that would have won the game.

Feyenoord fans are happy to see van Persie back, with the player having started his career at the Dutch club before he moved on to Arsenal.

Sam Larsson scored the first goal of the game for Feyenoord, before Gyrano Kerk got the equalizer.
