Ex-Man Utd defender McGrath fed-up with Keane and Fergie "slagging eachother off"

Former Manchester United defender Paul McGrath admits he's unimpressed by Roy Keane and Sir Alex Ferguson "slagging off eachother".

The Aston Villa and Irish legend wrote in the Sunday World: "I hope that's the end of Roy Keane and Alex Ferguson writing books to slag off each other.

"Frankly, I've had enough of two great football men, and two Manchester United legends, knocking lumps out of each other. Maybe they have a contract together: 'You have a go at me in a book, and then I'll strike back and we'll all do well out of it.'

"Alright, that's me being cynical, but sometimes you'd wonder if there wasn't a grain of truth in it. I've done two books. The first time I wasn't overly happy with how it turned out. The second one, done with Vincent Hogan of the Irish Independent, worked out very well. I thought it told my story properly and so that's me finished with books. Take it as read, I won't be doing another one.

"In my books, the person who got lashed most often was myself, for the mistakes I made in my life. Some other people got a mention that they might not be happy with, but I tried to tell my story honestly, while making the book interesting."
