Former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers defender Henning Berg believes England have found a new humility.
Norwegian Berg won the Premier League with United and Rovers.
He told VG: "They are better prepared, more European in their approach to the game and the mentality, and have a much greater focus on performance and football than they had before.
"In the past, they had individual players at the top level, but you always had a feeling that they were out of control emotionally.
"I think they are more humble now. I think they have realised that they are not the best in the world and that football is not just played in England."
England reached the final of Euro 2020 last night with victory over Denmark.
