Former Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair says Kevin De Bruyne can win the Ballon d'Or.

City ace De Bruyne has been one of his side's standout stars in the last couple of years, scoring 25 times and claiming 53 assists in 125 Premier League appearances.

“He can absolutely win it," Sinclair responded when asked whether the former Chelsea can win the Ballon d'Or on talkSPORT.

"The only reason he hasn't been considered is because there's something going on with FIFA and Manchester City players.

“None of them made team of the year – even Bernardo Silva despite what he won for City and Portugal."
