Former Manchester City and Real Madrid midfielder Javi Garcia has announced his retirement.
At 35, the Spaniard played out his final contract in Portugal with Boavista.
Garcia ends an 18-year career, which included experiences with Real Madrid, Osasuna, Manchester City, Zenit, Betis and finally Boavista.
A career that saw him win 11 club titles and a European title with the Spanish Under 19 national team.
