Former Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala admits he's seeking a new club.
Mangala, 31, left City for Valencia in the summer of 2019.
Two years later, the centre-back moved to St Etienne. However, it was only one season at the French club.
The Frenchman has been a free agent since last summer and he told Get French Football news: "My plan is to find a club and find a club as quickly as possible. It is my passion and I am motivated to give much more on the pitch.
"Football is where I enjoy. I want to be on the pitch.
"As far as contact with clubs is concerned, it is calm at the moment. Obviously there's the World Cup coming up too so it's a bit of a special year. The clubs will see what happens until November.
"It's a bit different too because there are more and more free players. However, when it comes to the World Cup, clubs will almost have another pre-season, and because of that, clubs can look to take certain players who are on the market. I am speaking in general terms. I have the desire, but the circumstances are special."
