Former Manchester City defender Jason Denayer is delighted with his move to Olympique Lyon.
Denayer has signed a four-year deal with OL and admits cutting ties with City was important at this stage in his career.
He said, "It gives me great pleasure to come and play in Lyon. After several attempts, this offer will have been the good one. The club followed me for three seasons. This shows that the leaders really wanted me and they know my game perfectly. It's an honour to play here.
"I know that OL wants to figure in all the competitions, but also the national cups and of course the Champions League. I come with a lot of ambition and the desire to help the team. I am here too to regain stability after the last four seasons on loan."
