Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is baffled by Pep Guardiola's treatment of Joe Hart.

The England goalkeeper joined Torino on Wednesday on a season-long loan.

Mancini, who worked with Hart at City, was quoted by the Metro saying: "I have no idea why he did this, but every tactician has their own ideas.

"Torino president Urbano Cairo has made a great purchase. He has won a reliable goalkeeper for his team.

"Despite his age, I think Hart can still get better."
