Former Manchester City and Barcelona striker Gai Assulin is trialling with IFK Gothenburg.

Assulin and Jose Manuel Casado are training with IFK and will feature in an U21 match against Falkenbergs FF.

IFK coach Poya Asbaghi told GP: "Gai had a bit of a s*** start.

"He has not played football continuously for so long and he felt ring-rust during the first training. But I think the more training he has had, the more of his qualities that we know about, he has been able to show.

"It will be interesting to see him in the match."
